(…) El artista sabe explotar la tentación del espectador a construir historias ante los estímulos visuales, pero renuncia él mismo a ofrecer versiones narrativas. Es como si nos dijera: usted es libre de filosofar, de imaginar contenidos, pero a fin de cuentas solo quiero que usted sepa que una línea es una línea y un óvalo nada más que un óvalo. En ese rejuego se sustancia la obra de Dulzaides: intelectualmente activa por una parte, mientras por otra es pura propuesta sensorial.

«Soy un artista que está consciente del lenguaje que está usando, de la historia de ese lenguaje y de los antecedentes del medio en que un proyecto se desarrolla: me considero un artista conceptual», dijo a principios de esta década Dulzaides. Esto es, en parte, verdad: hace arte vigorosamente pensado.
